ADBRO combines number of technologies to provide extended Contextual Targeting and highest Brand Safety levels (see How does ADBRO Brand Safety work?) to running Campaigns. Most classifications are performed in Real-Time which allows us to target the most recent Content and update Targeting settings immediately.
First Hit
When the new Content is published and first user Hits the Page, ADBRO collects and analyses the following details:
- Page Title
Title contains the most important information and is used for Categorization, Keywords Targeting and Safety Checks.
Any changes to Targeting Rules (e.g. added Keywords) come into effect from the very first Hit. - Site Section
Section is detected based on URL structure, Site Hierarchy or any custom Labels assigned by Publishers's editorial team. - Image
Trending content frequently uses same images across different Sites.
ADBRO detects duplicates on the fly and uses previous analysis results.
This details are analysed with every Hit, so any minor change to Page will be taken into account during segmentation.
Note: Any changes to Targeting Rules (e.g. added or excluded Keywords) come into effect immediately.
T+3 minutes
If an Image was not detected as a duplicate, it will be analysed within 3 minutes from the first Hit. Starting this moment, any visuals can be targeted (see How does ADBRO Computer Vision work?).
Note: Any changes to Visual Targeting Rules (e.g. added or excluded Tags) come into effect immediately.
T+30 minutes
Within 30 minutes from the first Hit, Page is crawled by third-party services like IAS and Grapeshot to perform deep content segmentation and extended safety checks. Starting this moment, Page is re-crawled every hour in order to detect any possible changes in content or Grapeshot classification rules.
ADBRO Team continuously evaluates segmentation results and improves classification rules and algorithms.
